Warehousing
Our modern warehouse has space for 9,500 pallets. Situated just ten miles north of Bristol and near junction 18 of the M4 motorway, our purpose built facility is equipped with a MANDATA Integrated Warehouse Management System incorporating bar-coding and PSION TEKLOGIX RF technology. This links to our operating system to ensure that all inbound and outbound goods are traceable at the touch of a key, at all times, wherever they are.
Many of our customers use our clean and secure facility to store their palletised goods for short or extended periods of time, and for subsequent delivery direct to their customers. At David Hathaway we pride ourselves, in particular, on our high standards of housekeeping.
The narrow-aisle racking within the warehouse can be configured to individual customers requirements depending on specific pallet heights. We utilise innovative HYSTER and BENDI forklifts to access them.
As well as a full pallet-picking service, we also offer case-picks, re-labelling, bar-coding and re-packing of goods. We can also restore damaged packaging, to ensure that goods are received in the correct condition.
David Hathaway Transport Ltd is working towards becoming HM Customs and Revenue Bonded (Bonded Warehousing). Accreditation should be in place by September 2008.
